Offering a more diverse portfolio to customers, the continuously published app refreshes every 15 minutes
In 2013 Incisive Media began launching edition-based apps for the majority of the print brands into the iTunes and Google Play Newsstands. This enabled our customers to download issues to their tablets and smartphones, to read on the go, both online and offline, wherever and whenever they required.
These apps have been a successful addition to the product portfolios, achieving thousands of downloads and significant sponsorship and advertising revenue, but customer feedback told us that there was also a need for an app that provided more regularly updated content and worked offline.
So, this year we’ve worked with our partner Kaldor to develop an app which takes content from our website content management system database and publishes it to the app every 15 minutes.
